A year in the council on behalf of LIEF

The FNWI Student Council is democratically elected each year by the students at the faculty. We, LIEF, are once again taking part in the elections this year and are looking for new lovely candidates (you?) who want to dedicate a year to improving education at Science Park. You’ll get a lot out of that year, also known as a council year. You’ll learn to work together with a diverse group of ambitious people, give and receive constructive criticism, and learn how to hold efficient meetings. What’s more, it’s a really fun year and you might even make friends for life 🙂

LIEF has been participating in the elections since 2009 and has been the largest party at the Faculty of Science for years. Our success stems from the extensive support we offer our candidates. For instance, we organise comprehensive campaign training ahead of the elections. We also ensure there’s a fun (and lovely) group of people to hang out with during the elections – and you can be part of it!

So, would you like to work towards a better FNWI through the Faculty Student Council next year? Don’t hesitate to apply! To do so, please send an email to the selection committee (soco@liefvoorjou.nl). Make sure your application includes at least the following:

• CV,
• Cover letter; introduce yourself, explain your motivation and mention a topic you would like to work on within the council.

Applications must be submitted by 30 March at the latest, so don’t wait too long.
